LaVonne visited Legacy Park Wednesday afternoon. Residents were playing Wheel of Fortune so I saw them all — Ruth Arnold, Dorothy Whistler, Donna Robb, and Rubena Jost. I had a nice visit with Howard Hess.
I ate lunch Thursday at Peabody Senior Center. It was a good meal. Kim is a good cook. In the afternoon, I went to Marion to get a car tag, took my income tax information to an accountant, and did some shopping.
Stan Ammeter was a supper guest Thursday and Friday evenings.
LaVonne and Michele Boese went to Marion Friday morning for physical therapy. In the afternoon, I went to Peabody to have the car serviced. I visited Marsha Seebree. Her mother-in-law was feeling better.
I went with Carol and Mike Reynolds and Sal Matz to El Dorado Saturday for Sonny and Joan Clark’s 50th wedding anniversary celebration.
It was lovely. We saw so many people. It was a great celebration for a neat couple.
We had church Sunday at Summit. Pastor Ragland had a better-than-ever sermon.
I went to the doctor Tuesday in Marion. It was such a windy day.
Michele and Dylan stopped by Saturday evening to wish me a “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
B.J. Ammeter came back from Ellinwood Saturday afternoon and left for Oklahoma Sunday evening to visit a cousin.
We wish Norma Riggs of Marion a speedy recovery from her surgery Tuesday. We’ll keep her in our prayers.
Hope you all have a good week. Hope you all had a good Valentine’s Day. I got many valentines from my great-grandchildren.
