I went to Florence Wednesday morning for a haircut.
Bayleigh Clark and Hadley came to sell Girl Scout cookies Thursday night.
Michele and I went to Marion Friday morning to physical therapy. Later we went to Marion County Lake to have tea and a dessert with Grandma June and Candy, Michele’s mother-in-law, and Lacey, John’s sister. We had a good visit.
Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Friday evening to spend the weekend.
Early Saturday morning, the hunters met and went hunting. They all ate dinner with me — John Boese, Bob Hartnagel, Darrell and her son Tyler from Wichita, Blaine, B. J., and Stan. I went to Peabody in the late afternoon.
The hunters went out again Sunday and all ate dinner at the farm.
Adam and Crystal Magette of Olathe stopped by Sunday and had lunch after the hunters left. They were on their way home from Dodge City where they had spent the weekend with Steve and Melody. Sure did enjoy them!
I went with Dorene and Ron Kirkpatrick to Marion Monday to LeRoy Riggs’ funeral at Marion Christian Church. It was a lovely service — a tribute to LeRoy and Normie both. It was a cold day but there was not a lot of snow. Our prayers and loving sympathy go out to the Carl Riggs families.
Blaine Ammeter came late Monday night to take me to the eye doctor Tuesday afternoon in Wichita. We shopped at Newton, and then braved the slick roads home. Blaine left for Ellinwood late evening.
Michele Boese visited LaVonne and B. J. late Tuesday evening.
We’re going to have another yo-yo week, but hoping for some warmer days. Have a good week.
