CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

Blaine Ammeter spent the night at LaVonne Ammeter’s on July 31 and did some chores for his mother Aug. 1. They took a long ride in the afternoon to see some of the places Blaine remembered from growing up in the area. He left for home late in the evening.

Also on Aug. 1 LaVonne’s great-grandson Avery Haxton had his tonsils and adenoids removed. Melody Magette called LaVonne to tell her that everything had gone well.

On Aug. 2, Tiana and Kenton Wiebe spent the afternoon with LaVonne. They baked cookies. Grandpa Wiebe picked them up late in the afternoon. Hadlye Clark came to visit LaVonne in the evening.

Stan Ammeter took LaVonne shopping in Peabody on Aug. 3.

Myron and Sally Ammeter came to LaVonne’s early on Aug. 5, and they all went to Ebenezer Methodist Church for services. Myron and Sally stayed for dinner. Stan Ammeter and Michele Hartnagel of Florence joined them. Myron and Sally went to Peabody to visit Opal Craney at Peabody Care Center and then returned home.

On Aug. 7, Eric Magette and boys came to LaVonne’s to spend the day. Stan joined them for lunch. Later they went to Peabody shopping. After supper they returned home to Eudora.
