Steve and Melody Magette arrived July 16 at the LaVonne Ammeter farm about 11 a.m. to take LaVonne to El Dorado to the eye doctor. LaVonne reports a positive examination. Later, LaVonne and the Magettes did some shopping and stopped for ice cream before heading home.
Stan Ammeter took LaVonne to Florence to get her hair cut July 11.
Stan and LaVonne went to Marion July 13 to a medical appointment and to Peabody for medicine and groceries.
Steve and Melody did some chores around the farm and Stan Ammeter came for a visit.
On July 17, LaVonne’s neighbor Sandi Fritz stopped for a visit in the morning and in the afternoon Tiana Wiebe was at LaVonne’s to visit.
On July 4, Laura Atwater of Wichita was a luncheon and afternoon guest of LaVonne. Stan came for lunch. Laura left later in the afternoon to spend the rest of the Fourth of July with her mother, Debra Lilly, in Peabody.
In the evening, Michelle Boese picked up LaVonne and Blondie Logan and they returned to the Boese residence for fireworks. Stan also was there.
Angela Bunger came July 5 to Peabody to pick up Opal Craney and LaVonne and take them to Manhattan to the Myron and Sally Ammeter residence for lunch. Mitchell and Colin Bunger joined them. Later Doug and Amy Drake and Daniel of Minnesota arrived with plans to stay with Myron and Sally until July 11. Opal and LaVonne were overnight guests on July 5.
In the late morning July 6, Steve and Melody Magette, Kevin and Emily Haxton, Avery, and Elyse of Ellsworth; Angela and Chad Bunger, Mitchell, and Collin; Adam, Crystal, and Lucas Magette of Wamego; Doug, Amy, and Daniel Drake of Minnesota; and Opal and LaVonne were all at Myron and Sally’s for lunch.
Carol and Blaine Ammeter arrived from Ellinwood after lunch and later the group had supper together. Carol and Blaine brought Opal and LaVonne back to Peabody and were overnight guests at the Ammeter farm.
Gary Davis of Newton joined the group July 8 and they all went to church together at Ebenezer Methodist Church. Stan Ammeter joined them at LaVonne’s for lunch. Blaine and Carol went to Don and Marjorie Gfellers to spend the afternoon.
