CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

On June 14, Angela Bunger and her sons, Colin and Mitchell, came to Peabody from Manhattan. They visited Opal Craney at Peabody Care Center and had lunch together.

Angela, Colin, and Mitchell went to LaVonne Ammeter’s about 1:30 p.m. Stan Ammeter came to the farm also and he and the boys did some work. The boys had a great time and left for home after snack time. Mitchell had a ball game in Manhattan in the evening and called to tell LaVonne he got three hits.

Other visitors that day were Stephen, Rebecca, and James Gillet who stopped by in the evening. James brought LaVonne some Gillet history from France.

LaVonne had gone to Florence for a hair appointment on June 13. Later, she and Stan went to Peabody for groceries and medicine.

LaVonne went to church at Ebenezer Methodist Church on June 17. Marie Clark stopped by LaVonne’s in the afternoon and delivered some green beans.

LaVonne and Stan went to Peabody again on June 19 to get a tire repaired and to pick up medicine. Mac and Hadlye Clark were visitors later in the day.
