On April 4, Steve and Melody Magette came to the Ammeter farm from Ellsworth and took LaVonne Ammeter to El Dorado for an appointment and to shop.
On April 8, Sally Ammeter picked up her mother, Opal Craney and LaVonne to go to Manhattan and celebrate Easter. They enjoyed a lovely dinner. Chad and Angela Bunger, Collin and Mitchell were there as well. Myron and Sally’s neighbor also was a dinner guest. Sally took Opal and LaVonne back to Peabody late in the afternoon.
Stan Ammeter took LaVonne to Peabody on April 9 for groceries and medicine. Mack and Bayleigh Clark visited at LaVonne’s in the evening.
Early on April 10, Joyce Kyle and LaVonne went to Burns to work on the election board at the Burns Community Building.
In the afternoon, Sally Ammeter and Doug and Amy Drake and Daniel from Minnesota and Collin Bunger of Manhattan came to the Community Building in Burns to visit with LaVonne. They went by the Ammeter farm to see Stan Ammeter and the new calves before going back to Manhattan.
Also on April 10, LaVonne attended the Burns Senior Center potluck dinner.
After the election polls closed, LaVonne, Joyce Kyle, and Mary Glenn took the ballots to Marion.
