CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

Todd Ammeter was an overnight guest March 23 of LaVonne Ammeter. He stayed for lunch March 24 and went back to Ellinwood late afternoon.

Blaine Ammeter arrived at the Ammeter farm late March 24 to spend the night.

Stan Ammeter visited LaVonne March 25 and he and Blaine trimmed blackberry bushes and did other small jobs. After lunch, LaVonne decorated a cake for Legacy Park and they watched the K-State basketball game. Blaine left for Ellinwood after the game.

LaVonne took the birthday cake she had decorated to Legacy Park March 26 and stayed for the party. She visited Donna Robb and Bill Krause and Shirley was there visiting. Lavonne found out her longtime friend Emma Shaw had died.

Bob Hartnagel and his brother from New York stopped by the Ammeter farm March 25.

Church services March 28 were at Summit. LaVonne acknowledged a floral bouquet she received for her birthday.

Gary Davis was a dinner guest of LaVonne Ammeter March 28. Late that afternoon LaVonne went to the viewing for Larry Andrews and visited with relatives. Later she visited Richard and Lucille Wyss at Legacy Park and Nonie Wilder.

Sherry Nightengale picked up LaVonne, Joyce Kyle, Marie Clark, and Lois Sayers March 29 and they went to the home of Dorene Kirkpatrick for a 20th Century Club meeting.

B.J. Ammeter and LaVonne went to Peabody March 30 to pick up medicine. Jay Gfeller came that afternoon to spend some time with B.J.

Donna Ramsey, Ethan, and Alex visited LaVonne in the afternoon and stayed for supper.

LaVonne met Larry and Theo Jean Winzer of El Dorado April 2 for supper in Burns to celebrate LaVonne’s birthday since they were unable to make it to LaVonne’s party.
