CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

Carol Ammeter came from Ellinwood March 17 to help LaVonne Ammeter clean her house. Later they went to Burns to look at the community building. Mary Glenn met them there.

LaVonne went to Peabody March 18 and visited Dorothy Whisler and Richard Wyss. Lucille Wyss was in the hospital at the time.

Eric Magette and Matthew of Eudora and Melody and Steve Magette of Dodge City were overnight guests March 19 of LaVonne. Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., and Stan Ammeter were supper guests.

LaVonne’s guests went to the Burn’s Community Building March 20 to get ready for her birthday open house. Blaine and Carol Ammeter arrived in the morning. Lunch guests were Blaine and Carol; Sally and Myron; B.J. Ammeter; Stan; Eric and Matthew; Chad and Angela Bunger, Mitchell and Collin; Gary Davis; and Opal Craney. That afternoon the group went to Burns for the party.

Adam and Crystal Magette and Lucas and Eric and Kristin Magette, Rachel, and Matthew had supper at LaVonne’s. Blaine and Carol stayed overnight at Don and Marjorie Gfellers and Myron and Sally stayed at Opal’s.

All the Magettes and Bungers headed home after supper.

Dinner guests March 21 of LaVonne were B.J. and Steve and Melody. Blaine and Carol came in the afternoon and left for their homes later in the day.

The Rob Ammeter family called March 22 to wish LaVonne a happy birthday. Amy Drake from Minnesota also called. B.J. and LaVonne went shopping in Peabody later.

Rev. Chuck and Janet Hudley of Wichita were afternoon and supper guests March 23 of LaVonne. LaVonne received a call from Amanda Kantack of Colorado Springs to let her know she has a new great-granddaughter.

Todd Ammeter from Camp Aldrich, near Claflin, was an overnight guest March 24 of LaVonne. Stan and B.J. Ammeter joined Todd and LaVonne for a late supper.
