CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

LaVonne Ammeter went to Peabody March 3, ate lunch at Peabody Senior Center, and stayed for a Lenten service. Afterward, she went to Legacy Park to visit her aunt Nonie Widler, Richard and Lucille Wyss, Laura Branham, Donna Robb, Dorothy Whisler, Bill and Shirley Krause, and Gayle and Kaye Krause of El Dorado.

Jackie Beemer of El Dorado visited LaVonne March 4 and took her to a chiropractor in Marion.

LaVonne went to Ebenezer Church March 7 for services. Carolyn and Jack Metz of Wichita visited and brought LaVonne a new wrought iron bench for her birthday. B.J. Ammeter came home from Manhattan later in the day.

Michele Boese and Dylan helped LaVonne decorate a birthday cake March 8 for Doni Rogers. Stan Ammeter came to the farm later for supper.

LaVonne went to Burns March 9 to the monthly senior citizens potluck. After a program given by USD 398 Superintendent Rex Watson regarding school budget cuts, Doni Rogers was surprised with a birthday cake. Later in the afternoon, LaVonne went shopping in Peabody.
