A birthday party is held at Legacy Park

B.J. Ammeter took LaVonne Ammeter to deliver a birthday cake Dec. 30 at Legacy Park for a party the following day. B.J. left for Ellinwood later in the evening.
LaVonne went to the birthday party at Legacy Park Dec. 31. After the party she visited with Emma Shaw, Donna Robb, Dorothy Whisler, Dave and Esther Stucky, Howard Hess, and Richard and Lucille Wyss.
Stan Ammeter was a supper guest of LaVonne’s Dec. 31. Steve and Melody Magette came later from Dodge City to spend the weekend.
Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived Jan. 1 to spend the night. They stayed the rest of the weekend with Opal Craney and helped Opal celebrate her 95th birthday.
LaVonne, Steve, and Melody went to El Dorado Jan. 2 to take recycling. After a football game, the Magettes returned to Dodge City.
Sunday morning Stan took LaVonne to Peabody to go to church Jan. 3 with Myron, Sally, and Opal. Chad, Angela, and the boys arrived from Manhattan and attended services.
After church, the group went to Opal’s for lunch and her birthday celebration. Sally and Myron hosted lunch. Others attending the party were Erma Nellans, Kim and Dale Nellans, Bruce Tappan, Chad and Angela Bunger, Mitchell and Collin, and Vickie Pritchett.
Jim Myers and Jeremy Jacobs laid vinyl flooring Jan. 5 at LaVonne’s. LaVonne went to Florence to get her hair done.
