Family moves furniture to Peabody

B.J. and Stan Ammeter helped Myron and Sally Ammeter move Opal Craney’s furniture Nov. 11 to an assisted living apartment at Legacy Park in Peabody.

LaVonne Ammeter went to Marion on Nov. 11 to the doctor. In the evening, she visited Blondie Logan.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood came to the farm Nov. 12 to stay the weekend and to hunt. Michele Montgomery visited LaVonne in the afternoon.

LaVonne took recycling to Burns on Nov. 13. The hunters left early to hunt. Luncheon guests were Blaine, B.J., and Stan Ammeter and a friend from Wichita, along with John Boese and Dylan. The guests ate soup, vegetables, chili, and crackers.

The hunters went out Nov. 14 and ate lunch at the farm again.

LaVonne went to the Ebenezer Methodist Church dinner Nov. 14 at Burns Community Center. Twenty-one people attended. Melody Magette of Dodge City and Mary Sue Holm of Fairfield, Va., called LaVonne later in the evening.

LaVonne went to Peabody Senior Center for lunch Nov. 15 and helped to make peppernuts. John Boese came to LaVonne’s home later in the evening. Lisa Clark also was an evening visitor.

Blondie Logan picked up LaVonne on Nov. 16 and they went to Marion for appointments.
