CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

LaVonne and B.J. Ammeter went shopping Sept. 8 at Peabody. Stan Ammeter came to the farm for supper.

Lisa Clark visited LaVonne on Sept. 9.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood spent Sept. 10 with LaVonne. They went to Peabody to get groceries and shopped. Melody Magette came later that evening. She stayed the weekend.

Melody and LaVonne went to Ellinwood on Sept. 11 to spend the day with Emily and Kevin Haxton and great-grandchildren Avery and Elyse. They ate lunch and supper with them. B.J. and Blaine went to the Kansas State University football game at Manhattan. Carol Ammeter arrived later to spend the night.

The next day, Melody, Carol, and LaVonne went to services at Summit Church.

LaVonne’s dinner guests Sept. 12 were Stan, Blaine, Carol, and B.J. Ammeter; Melody Magette; and Gary Davis of Newton. After lunch, Melody left for Dodge City and Carol and LaVonne went to Newton to Edith Spinden’s 80th birthday party at her daughter’s home. LaVonne returned home with Don and Marjorie Gfeller.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Manhattan came for lunch Sept. 13 at LaVonne’s house. After lunch, they picked up Opal Craney and went to a doctor’s appointment and physical therapy in Marion. Myron and Sally were Opal’s supper guests and then returned to Manhattan. John Boese visited B.J. and Stan at the house in the afternoon.

LaVonne visited Blondie Logan on Sept. 13.

Michele Boese and Dylan picked up LaVonne and they went shopping in Peabody. They visited for a while when they returned to the farm.
