Mary Sue Holm of Fairfield, Va., and Alexis Morgan of Great Bend arrived at the Ammeter farm Aug. 8 to spend the afternoon and night. They went to an ice cream social at Burns Community Building, sponsored by Ebenezer church. LaVonne won the jar of candies and shared it with Alexis. Stan Ammeter was a supper guest and toured the farm with Alexis.
Mary Sue and Alexis returned to Wichita Aug. 9 to spend the rest of the week with Carolyn Holms.
LaVonne went to physical therapy again Aug. 6 and returned to Peabody to shop.
Katie and Anna Watts of Agency, Mo., visited her aunt, LaVonne, Aug. 7.
They joined B.J. and Stan Ammeter as supper guests. The girls went to Newton to visit their grandparents and stayed the night. Katie and Anna cleaned LaVonne’s house.
