Carolyn Metz of Wichita took LaVonne Ammeter to visit Laura Braham, Nonie Widler, and Richard and Lucille Wyss on July 8 at Legacy Park in Peabody. The Wyss’s daughter, Sandra, was visiting them at the time. Afterward, Carolyn and LaVonne had lunch in Marion before physical therapy at St. Luke Hospital. Later, Ethan and Alex Ramsey visited their grandmother LaVonne.

LaVonne’s visitors July 9 were Marie Clark and Michele, Dylan, and Karen Boese from Colorado.

Mary Olson of Marion took LaVonne to Wichita on July 10 for a party for Janet Hadley, who is retiring after 40 years as a teacher. Her husband, Chuck, had been a student minister at Summit Church in Burns.

Mary and LaVonne stopped on their way home to visit J.D. and Mary Beth Gaines. He recently had heart surgery and is doing fine.

Michele and Karen Boese visited LaVonne again July 10.

LaVonne went to church July 11 at Ebenezer Church in Burns. Gary Davis of Newton was a dinner guest afterward.

LaVonne returned to St. Luke for physical therapy July 12 and stopped in Peabody for medicine.
