CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter

LaVonne and B.J. Ammeter went to a doctor’s appointment Sept. 29 in El Dorado. Blaine Ammeter of Ellsworth arrived later in the afternoon to visit.

LaVonne visited Dorothy Whisler and Donna Robb on Oct. 1 at Legacy Park. Melody Magette arrived in the early evening from Dodge City to stay the weekend. Later, Eric Magette and Matthew of Eudora arrived at the farm to stay the night and the next day.

Stan Ammeter and his friend, David, of Wichita, visited the Ammeter farm Oct. 2. Matthew picked apples to make applesauce. He and his father returned to Eudora in the evening. Blaine and Carol Ammeter came later in the evening to stay the night.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Manhattan arrived Oct. 3. The Ammeter family attended the Clark reunion at Burns Community Center with 45 other family members.

Dorene Kirkpatrick, Cindy Holt, and LaVonne Ammeter cleaned Summit church Oct. 4. They attended a luncheon sponsored by Peabody Methodist Church Women. Rick Just gave a presentation. In the afternoon, the women went to a grocery store and ordered food for a lunch Sunday for the Summit church closing.

LaVonne went to Burns on Oct. 5. Her granddaughter, Angela, called that day.
