An article in last week’s paper about potential costs to renovate the Bowron building incorrectly identified Vogts Parga Construction LLC as the company that conducted a recent assessment and provided estimates. The company performing the work was Vogts Construction Company.

The officer in charge of the scene at a death at Cottonwood Point at Marion Reservoir last week was detective Derek Fetrow.

An Oct. 11 article incorrectly reported that county commissioner Kent Becker said a wedding party at Marion County Lake should have donated to a lake fund as compensation for cutting grass when Becker only suggested the county consider asking for donations in the future.
