Cora A. Thiebaud, 86, died Aug. 7, 2008 at her home in Covington, Wash.

She was born Sept. 9, 1921 in Emporia, the daughter of Samuel H. and Helen T. Bennett of Peabody.

She was a 1940 graduate of Peabody High School.

On Sept. 11, 1941, she married Edward H. Johnson II, who preceded her in death Nov. 14, 1959.

She later married Eugene L. Thiebaud who preceded her in death May 26, 1990.

Also preceding her in death were her only sister, Helen (Bennett) Dorsett; a son, Edward H. Johnson III (Ted); and two grandsons, James (Mike) Johnson and Shane Spangler.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl (Johnson) Hoot and Candace (Johnson) Spangler of Kent, Wash.; a son, Jeffery H. Johnson of Rose Hill, and four grandchildren, Lynn (Hoot) Schofield, Seth Spangler, and Nathan and Aaron Johnson.

A private burial service will take place at a future date at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
