Cora Sorenson

Cora B. Sorenson, 60, died Aug. 4 at her home in McPherson.

A funeral service was to be today at New Hope Evangelical Church, McPherson. A graveside service was Aug. 5 at McPherson Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 11, 1954, in Marion to Leonard and Rosalie W. (Friesen) Franklin. She graduated from Marion High School, and attended Central College, McPherson. She married Donald D. Sorenson on June 8, 1974, in Marion.

She was a paraprofessional at Lincoln Elementary School in McPherson.

Survivors include: her husband; children, Kami VanCampen, Kelly Sorenson, Keaton Sorenson, all of McPherson, and Kelsie Jusko of Hays; sister, Vickie Fisher of Wichita; and five grandchildren.

Memorials are requested for New Hope Evangelical Church.
