Cooks to celebrate 50th anniversary

Jay and Vickie Cook of Peabody will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday.

Jay Cook and Vickie Davis married July 14, 1963, in Peabody. They have a son, Kelly Cook of Peabody; a daughter, Deeana Wingert of Wichita; and two grandsons, Brian and Jason Wingert.

In August, they plan to take a family trip to Colorado to commemorate their anniversary as well as the 25th anniversary celebration of their daughter and her husband, Sam Wingert, whose were married on Sept. 18, 1988.
