Marie Clark was a Thanksgiving Day guest of Larry and Diane Nelson and family of Cassoday. On Nov. 30, Mark and Jarrett Johnson of Marion and their foreign exchange student, Temo of Germany, were guests of Marie.

Wayne and Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs were supper and overnight guests of Marie Clark on Nov. 29. Jen Stucky and Peggy Van der Weg were supper guests on Dec. 1.

Marie Clark accompanied Beth Wolf to El Dorado Dec. 2.

Darrell and Linda Bender and Macy of Madrid, Neb., and Tim and Sara Bender, and Weldon Bender of Pennsylvania and grandsons of Vernon Koehn came to the home of Vernon and Judy Koehn for Thanksgiving Day. They were joined by Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee. Darrell, Linda, and Macy were overnight guests of Renferd and Wanda, and Tim, Sara, and Weldon were over-night guests of Vernon and Judy. They all gathered for breakfast the morning of Nov. 29 at Vernon and Judy’s, joined by Dalen and Beth Koehn and Cody. The Benders left later that day.

Dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, and Carolee on Dec. 1 were Nathan Koehn and Dalen and Beth Koehn and Cody. In the evening, Renferd went to Pine Village in Moundridge and called on Harvey and Erma Koehn. Erma, Vernon’s sister-in-law, has since passed away and the service was Dec. 4.

Mitch and Kathy Foote were Thanksgiving Day guests of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale. On Dec. 1, they had their family dinner. Guests were Mitch and Kathy Foote of Manhattan, Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia and Allie’s friend, Tanner Queen of Kearney, Mo., Brad and Diane Nightengale and Roger of El Dorado, Casey of Wichita, and Laura of Peoria, Ill.

Thanksgiving Day guests of Sandy Sayers were Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Bruce Sayers and Megan, Tom and Esther Archer and Daniel of Cottonwood Falls, Roy and Sara Wessel and Leroy, and Autumn Padgett.

On Nov. 29, Lawrence and Lois Sayers attended the funeral of Ruth Littell in Winfield. She was a cousin of Lois Sayers.
