A come-and-go reception to acquaint residents with Peabody Community Foundation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at the HUB.

“We hope to have a good turn-out,” PCF president Brad Nightengale said. “This is kind of a get-acquainted function. It is a good opportunity for us to meet people and help them discover what we are about, what we can do for our local nonprofits, and what our long-range goals are.”

Foundation board members will be on hand to visit with people attending.

“We will serve light refreshments and give people a chance to ask questions about the foundation and its purpose,” Nightengale said. “Everyone is welcome.”
