Community foundation gives $3,630

Goessel Community Foundation gave six grants totaling $3,630 to nonprofit organizations May 1.

Bethesda Home received two grants totaling $1,180 to supplement expenses for the Friendship Meal Program.

Goessel USD 411 received $600 for family engagement opportunities and education activities for parents of pre-school children.

Goessel Public Library received $600 to establish a permanent “Elaine Schroeder Story Walk” alongside Bethesda Home.

Marion County Core Community received $400, Marion County Families and Communities Together received $500, the Court Appointed Special Advocates program received $250 for advocacy in the Goessel area.
