Government surplus commodities will arrive at Marion County senior centers Dec. 9.

Marion Senior Center will begin distribution from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 10.

Commodities are available to persons who are income eligible, and should be picked up from their local distribution site.

Each site will distribute them according to their own schedule and may not distribute on the same day.

Patrons should check with their local site for distribution schedules.

Lehigh residents should pick up commodities at Main Street Ministries in Hillsboro.

If there are no commodities left at a specific site, patrons should call Marion County Department on Aging at (620) 382-3580 to find out where commodities are available.
