Settlement of a suit brought by heirs Larry Funk and Sheryl Deaver against Kathleen Decker over the death of Lloyd A. Funk after a traffic accident Aug. 9, 2025, near 170th and Indigo Rds. was accepted by the court and dismissed Sept. 15. The court approved $83,576.507 in legal fees and $70,059.81 in medical and towing fees with the undisclosed balance of the settlement going to the heirs.
