Kathleen Bowman filed suit Feb. 13 against State Farm Mutual Insurance. Bowman seeks more than $25,000 for injuries she claims she incurred in an Oct. 8, 2018, accident when Justin Jones ran a stop sign on 330th Rd. in a 2007 Mitsubishi Gallant and collided with a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado in which she was a passenger. Jones was uninsured, Bowman’s petition claims. The accident caused her past and future medical and hospital expenses, life care expenses, lost wages, diminished earning capacity, emotional distress, pain and suffering, and loss of enjoyment of life.

Serina A. Fisher was ordered Feb. 13 to pay Newton Healthcare Corp. $1666.93 plus costs and interest for unpaid medical bills.

Zeller Harvesting filed a request that Kansas Department of Revenue issue a new vehicle identification number for a trailer purchased in 2014 with an illegible VIN number. The state issued a VIN label at that time, but another trailer was brought into Kansas with the same VIN number.
