Linda Loewen filed a lawsuit Aug. 1 against Brian G. Burkholder and Roger K. Loewen seeking more than $75,000 for injuries sustained in an accident in an Aug. 19, 2020, in which Roger Loewen, 76, drove his 2011 pickup into the rear of a 1978 Allis tractor driven by Burkholder. The tractor was pulling a hay rake on K-15 south of 120th Rd. Linda Loewen, 75, Wichita, a passenger in the pickup and did not report injury at the time. An accident report said the hay rake had no lights on the rear but no citations were issued.

A lawsuit earlier filed by debt collection agency Unifund CCR against Franklin M. Davis was moved July 25 from Harvey County District Court to Marion County District Court. The lawsuit has been moved between several counties.
