Glenn D. Herman filed suit Friday against Crossroads Credit Union. Hermann claims the credit union wrongfully debited $30,000 from his account during November and December 2019. He seeks refund of the money plus interest.

Robert Janes was ordered May 4 to pay MM Finance $2,349.25 plus costs and interest for an unpaid payday loan.

Marie E. Kessler was ordered May 3 to pay Discover Bank $14,843.71 plus costs and interest for unpaid credit card bills.

A suit earlier filed against Steve Khan by Velocity Investments was dismissed May 6.

A suit earlier filed against Matthew Meyer by Midland Credit Management was dismissed May 6.

John W. Phillips was ordered May 10 to pay Capital One Bank $7,384.64 plus costs and interest for unpaid credit card bills.

Marion County Sheriff’s Office filed a petition for forfeiture of a 9mm handgun and a 2003 Buick Century taken from Rashawn Pleass during an April 8 arrest. Pleass was charged April 21 with possession of oxycodone with intent to sell, distribution of methamphetamine, criminal possession of a firearm, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Mahlon B. Riggs filed suit Monday against Amy Erickson, Kansas Department of Revenue, and Kansas Highway Patrol seeking to quiet title on a 1991 Jeep Wrangler he purchased from Erickson.

A suit earlier filed against William J. Ryan for unpaid credit card bills was dismissed May 6.

Darian Simons was ordered May 10 to pay Goldman Sachs $10,908.28 plus costs and interest for unpaid credit card bills.

Claton Worleyy was ordered May 4 to pay Daniel Spohn $900 plus costs and interest for selling Spohn an inoperable transmission.

Dakota L. Young was ordered to pay $100 cash bond to be credited to Marion County Emergency Medical Services for money owed. An arrest warrant had been issued for Young after he repeatedly failed to appear for court hearings, and the bond was for his release from jail.
