Church planning live nativity

Good News Christian Fellowship of Marion will present a live nativity scene for the second consecutive year, the Rev. Larry King said Friday.

The live nativity scene will be accompanied by a free soup supper at the church, 310 S. Coble St. Both events will be from 6 to 7:30 tonight. The church will accept donations for Marion County Emergency Food Bank during the soup supper, King said.

“We did it as an outreach last year, but it was mostly a Christmas gift to the community,” he added.
