Christina Radtke

Services for Christina Lynn (Moody) Radtke, 68, who died Nov. 8 at St. Luke Living Center after a three-year battle with cancer, were Saturday at Marion Christian Church. Burial was at Elmdale Cemetery.

Born Feb. 14, 1954, to Martie and Virgie (Orram) Moody in Newton, she moved with her family from Moundridge to Florence in 1965 and then in 1967 to their family farm east of Marion.

She met Bud Radtke a year after she graduated from Marion High School in 1972. They were married July 30, 1977, in Salina. The couple later purchased the family farm.

She worked at a Florence nursing home for 29 years and at Casey’s General Store in Marion for 15 years.

Survivors include sons Travis and Trent Radtke and daughter Traci Helmer, all of Marion; brother Kim Moody of Ulysses; sisters Cheri Thompson of Eudora, Cindy Naff of Lawrence, and Konnie Hamilton of Loomis, California; and six grandchildren.

Her husband, parents, and brother John Moody preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established with Marion City Library.
