The fifth annual Marion County Lake Chili Cook-Off is 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday outside the lake hall. The event benefits Marion County Park and Lake.

The 2010 contest attracted a record 17 entries and 214 tasters.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants: $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $35 for third place.

There will also be a doubles corn hole pitching tournament, with a $5 entry fee. To enter the chili cook-off, visit the lake office or call (620) 382-3240.
