Charles Carlson

Charles Carlson, 91, died Dec. 6 at Herington Municipal Hospital.

He was born April 26, 1925, to Algot R. and Sadie L. Carlson north of Burdick.

He graduated from Diamond Valley High School in 1943.

He married Arlene F. Laudemann on June 9, 1946, in White City.

He worked as a farmer and rancher, and also in Burdick Grade School as a custodian, coach, and bus driver and was a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a past master of the Burdick Lodge and member of Hebron Lutheran Church in Burdick.

He was preceded in death by brother Richard Carlson.

He is survived by his wife Arlene; children, Mike Carlson of Burdick, and Jean Brunner of Lost Springs; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday at Hebron Lutheran Church, Burdick, with burial following in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with Hebron Lutheran Church.
