Centre volleyball splits matches

Centre volleyball team played two matches Saturday at home. They lost to Inman in two matches, 25-22 and 25-20. They defeated Stafford, 25-17 and 25-7.

In a match played Monday, Centre defeated Solomon in two games, 25-13 and 25-19.

The team’s record is 11-13 overall and 5-3 in the league.The league meet will be Saturday at Centre.

Other county teams

Marion, Hillsboro, Goessel, and Peabody-Burns had a weekend off.

Marion and Peabody-Burns will play yet to be announced opponents Thursday.

Hillsboro will be in Hutchinson next Tuesday for a tournament at Trinity Catholic High School.
