Centre reviews building plans

New building projects approved at Centre include new pre-school classrooms, a day care, and a new weight room.
The district’s school board reviewed the plans at a meeting Monday. An architect will be at April’s meeting to go overe bids.
Two pre-school and two day-care rooms will be built onto the west side of the school’s west wing. A concession stand will be attached to the north side.
A weight room will be built onto the south side of the main gymnasium.
In other business, the board approved student travel to Salina for an after-prom party May 8.
According to the 2022-’23 school calendar, Aug. 18 will be the starting date, and May 23 the closing date. Winter break will be Dec. 20 to Jan. 2. Spring break will be March 13 to 17.
