With just seven athletes out for golf this year at Centre High School, coach Greg Wyatt is expecting to see more successes individually than as a team.
Juniors Dylan Svitak and Kodey Johnson are the only returning letter-winners. Svitak lettered as a freshman, and both are expected to improve their scores this year.
They are joined by freshman Shelby Svitak, sophomores Karl Riffel and Kristy Laing, and exchange students Michal Baumgartner and Jasmin Abdelghany.
Wyatt is in his 12th year as golf coach at CHS. In the past four years, his teams advanced to state competition three consecutive seasons. Two seniors competed at state last year.
