The family of Florence resident Betty Hanes has requested a card shower for her 80th birthday anniversary.

Hanes has lived in Florence since 1951. She has worked at several area cafés and other area businesses.

She is married to Bob Hanes and has three children, Deb, Neal, and Phil.
