Canton-Galva defeats PBJHS

The PBJHS Tomahawks suffered a second loss at home Thursday. Canton-Galva defeated the Tomahawks, 66-16.

The team will have another home game this week with a match-up against Moundridge.

Canton-Galva controlled the first half with seven scores.

PBJHS did get on the scoreboard in the half with a 31-yard touchdown pass from Brooks Hodges to Braxton Kyle. Garrett Schroeder connected with Hodges for the two-point conversion and the Tomahawks had eight.

At the half, PBJHS trailed the Eagles, 42-8.

The Eagles scored first in the second half to take a 48-8 lead, but the Tomahawks answered their score with one of their own. Xavier Jabary caught a Schroeder pass for a 60-yard score. Kyle caught a Schroeder pass for the two-point conversion and the score in the third was 48-16.

The Eagles continued to increase their already substantial lead with the addition of three more scores. The game ended with five minutes left to go in the fourth quarter with the score 66-16.
