saturday

8 a.m. to noon — Peabody Farmers Market, downtown.

9 a.m. — Peabody July 4th activities including, 5K fun run, 7:30 a.m.; library book sale, 9 a.m. to noon and alumni dance 9 p.m.

6 p.m. — Marion County Lake Cruise, fireworks and concert with Just Us band, Marion County Park and Lake.

sunday

All day — Peabody Fourth of July celebration including, flea market, all day; horseshoe tournament and sand volleyball, 8 a.m.; washers tournament registration 9:30 a.m. tournament, 10:20 a.m.; Church service at park, 10 a.m.; Dog show registration, 11:15 a.m., dog show, 11:30 a.m.; kids games at park, free swim, Michael Wetta maps on display at library, noon; Peabody Historical Society ice cream social 2 to 4 p.m.; parade, 5 p.m.; music in park, 6 p.m. and fireworks show at dusk.

wednesday

5 to 7 p.m. — Marion Farm and Art Market, Central Park.
