Thursday

Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission trip to Museum of World Treasures for ages 8 and older. Adult must accompany a child younger than 8. $7 for all ages. Museum includes dinosaurs, military exhibit, mummies. Bring lunch or money to buy lunch. Bus leaves high school at 9:15 a.m., returns at 3 p.m.

Saturday

Dreamer’s Club cleanup day, 9 a.m. to noon. Meet at Santa Fe Park with buckets, shovels, brooms, trash bags to continue sprucing up the community.

Sunday

Florence Cruise, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., downtown Florence. Motorcyles and vintage cars and food vendors Businesses open.

Monday

Vacation Bible School, 8:30 to 11:15 a.m. daily at Peabody United Methodist Church for ages pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. Closing program, 7 p.m. Friday at Methodist Church.

Peabody Farm Market, 5 to 6:30 p.m., in front of Baker buildings, downtown Peabody. Fresh garden produce, baked goods, crafts.

Tuesday

Florence Farm Market, 5 to 7 p.m., Moses Shane Park, adjacent to US-50. Plants, baked goods, and fresh garden produce.

Wednesday

Marion County Clerk Tina Spencer will explain to Peabody Senior Center members how to vote using an IPad.
