Thursday

Peabody Township Library summer reading program, 9:30 to 11 a.m., Ann Potter Room at Peabody Township Library, for toddlers to fifth-graders. Story time, activities, games, and opportunities to check out books.

Friday

Family swim, 5 to 8 p.m. at Peabody Municipal Pool. Families swim together free. At least one parent, guardian, or grandparent must accompany and remain with children.

Saturday

Dreamer’s Club cleanup day begins at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Fe Park. Volunteers bring rakes, shovels, trash bags, pickups to clean street gutters. Last cleanup day before July 4 celebration and parade. Homeowners can help by raking gutter debris into small piles.

Sunday

Crystal Springs Motorcycles and Classic Car Run, Florence. All-you-can-eat-breakfast 8:30 a.m. at Florentine Center downtown. Father’s Day lunch of baby back ribs at 11:30 a.m. Vendors, raffle. Money raised goes toward Florentine Center repairs and scholarships for area students.

Monday

Peabody Farm Market, 5 to 6:30 p.m. in front of Baker buildings downtown Peabody. Fresh garden produce, baked goods.

Tuesday

Florence Farm Market, 5 to 7 p.m., Moses Shane Park adjacent to US-50. Plants, baked goods, and produce.

Wednesday

Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission trip to Kenwood Cove water park in Salina for ages three and older. An adult must accompany children 8 and younger. Admission $4 for ages 3 to 17, $6 for 18 and older. Swimsuits must be free of metal or hard plastic pieces to use water slide. Bring a sack lunch or money to buy lunch. Bus will leave high school at 11:15 a.m. and will return at 5:30 p.m.
