Senior Citizens of Marion County annual meeting begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon at Peabody Senior Center. Sandy Heyman will be the speaker. (No peppernut baking on this day.)

Friday

To support breast cancer awareness month, students, parents, and fans of Warrior football are encouraged to wear pink to the Peabody-Burns home game against Rural Vista High School.

Saturday

Scarecrow Festival featuring chili crawl at the HUB, craft and sidewalk sale merchandise downtown, small vendor sales at the American Legion Fall Showcase, Read and Roll tour around town, scarecrow judging, and other activities.

Monday

No school for Peabody-Burns students. Staff development day.

Peppernut baking continues at Peabody Senior Center. Volunteers are always needed. More information is available at (620) 983-2771.

Wednesday

Peabody-Burns Elementary School Parent-Teacher meeting at 5:30 p.m. in PBES library.
