Memorial Day weekend brunch at 9:30 a.m. at Peabody Senior Center. Reservations required by calling (620) 983-2226 by May 21.
Fourth Annual Dale Hague HUB Benefit begins at 5 p.m. at 118 N. Walnut St. Musical entertainment by Aaron Waddell. Sloppy joe meal, cost by donation.
Saturday
Peabody Historical Society fried chicken dinner with homemade ice cream from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at Peabody Senior Center. Museums will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tours available at the Print Museum and the Morgan House will have a display of military and early memorabilia from the Christ family.
Sunday
First Peabody Cruise from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Santa Fe Park and downtown Peabody. Church service, musical entertainment, vintage automobiles and motorcycles, food vendors, and more.
Monday
Annual Memorial Day Service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery begins at 10 a.m.
Peabody-Burns sophomore class will serve the annual Memorial Day dinner from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Brown Gymnasium. The dinner is a fundraiser for the 2016 Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom.
Wednesday
First Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission summer trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo. Bus leaves PBHS at 9 a.m. and returns about 3 p.m. No admission charge for children two and younger, $9 for ages 3 to 11, and $14 for ages 12 and older. Children younger than 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a sack lunch or money to buy lunch.
