Peabody will host the 12-year-old Cal Ripken Fourth District baseball tournament beginning at 6 p.m. today through Sunday at Peabody City Park.

Championship play could be Monday evening, if necessary.

Teams from Buhler, Newton, Hesston, Lyons, and Quivera, as well as a Cottonwood Valley All-Star team, made-up of area youngsters, will participate. The brackets include games with both 60-foot and 70-foot pitches.
