Peabody-Burns Superintendent Ron Traxson told those attending a monthly potluck dinner May 12 at Burns Senior Center about the district’s financial situation and an upcoming vote on a local option budget.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines attended Brooke Gaines’s spring program May 12 at Madison. On May 16, they attended Mackenzie Young’s graduation party at Peabody United Methodist Church and on May 17 they went to Nicholas Preheim’s party at the elementary school.
Vernon and Judy Koehn went to Eden Christian School’s graduation party May 16. Judy had a “play day” watching the youths.
Bruce Sayers had dinner May 17 with his parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers.
Lowell Larsen and Joyce Kyle attended Marion County Senior Citizens’ board meeting May 15 in Marion.
In the evening, Kyle went to the home of Bob and Becky Kyle to attend Braxton’s graduation party. She attended baccalaureate and commencement May 17 for the PBHS class of 2015.
Kyle callers last week were Jim and Beulah Gehring and Bob Kyle.
