Burns correspondent
Burns Senior Citizens met June 9 at Burns Community Building for a monthly potluck dinner.
A meal was followed by members sharing favorite jokes and stories. A total of 17 attended.
Jen Stucky and Peggy Van der Weg visited their mother, Marie Clark, at her home June 6 after services for Betty Kyle.
Wayne and Deby Kyle of Hamilton, Texas, came to Joyce Kyle’s home June 5. All attended services for Betty Kyle. Jim and Beulah Gehring called on Joyce and guests in the afternoon.
Joyce, Wayne, and Deby went to Hesston that evening and called on Rhonda Schrock, Morgan and Kaitlyn.
The Wayne Kyles returned to Texas on June 7.

Friday — at 9:30 a.m.: breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls or blueberry coffee cake.
Monday — Ham and beans, corn bread, carrots and celery sticks, tropical fruit.
Tuesday — Cabbage rolls, scalloped potatoes, fruit, wheat bread.
June 24 — Chicken and noodles, green salad, fruit, wheat bread.
June 25— Sloppy Joes, coleslaw, watermelon.
