Burns seniors attend May meeting

Eighteen Burns seniors and friends gathered on May 14 at the Burns Senior Center for the monthly potluck dinner.

Gayla Ratzlaff, coordinator for the Marion County Department of Aging, presented a survey of the senior center and one of the county hospitals.

Burns Senior Center President James Olberding conducted a business meeting. The minutes of the last meeting were read and the treasurer’s report given. Both were approved as presented.

It was reported the seniors were given a very generous memorial gift in memory of Kathleen Brenzikofer.

The menu for the annual board meeting in June was discussed.

James Olberding adjourned the meeting.
