Burns correspondent
The Burns Senior Citizens and friends met Nov. 13 for their monthly potluck dinner. Doni Rogers asked the blessing and everyone saluted the flag.
Gayla Ratzlaff, Marion County Department of Aging coordinator, presented the program “Hoarding.” For many, the program answered the question, “Why did I save that?” She also answered some questions on the prescription drug plan.
James Olberding called the meeting to order. The minutes of the last meeting and the treasurer’s report were given and approved. The menu for the Christmas party was discussed.
“Happy Birthday” was sung to Dale Snelling and Joyce Kyle and “Happy Anniversary” to Ray and Lucille Robinson.
Olberding adjourned the meeting.
