Burns correspondent
The Burns Senior Citizens and friends met Sept. 11 for their monthly potluck dinner. Doni Rogers gave the blessing and all saluted the flag.
James Olberding gave the program. He showed pictures and told about the many pet dogs he had in his life. He told of some of their tricks and accomplishments.
USD 398 Superintendent Ron Traxon was present and gave an update on enrollment and activities.
Olberding called the business meeting to order. Minutes of the past meeting were read and a treasurer’s report was given and approved. No birthdays or anniversaries were celebrated. Olberding adjourned the meeting.
