Kay Lambert of Topeka was a Jan. 27 and 28 guest of Al and Bonnie Plummer. They ate supper at the Burns Café on Jan. 27.
On Feb. 4, Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to a birthday party for Connor Koehn at the home of his family, Shawn and Jean Koehn, at Inman. Others attending were Dusty Gaines, Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke, Kenny and Roma Koehn, Jeff and Jill Koehn and family, and Todd and Terry Moddlemog and Tia.
Nathan Koehn was a dinner guest of Renferd and Wanda Koehn and Lonnie on Feb. 5.
Marie Clark attended Holton Nelson’s ballgame Feb. 3 and spent the night with Larry and Diane Nelson. Jen Stucky was a Feb. 5 dinner guest of Marie.
A memorial service for 20 year-old Angela Thiessen was held at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at Emmaus Church after the burial at 9:30 a.m. at Pleasant Center Cemetery. Among her survivors is Ashley Wiebe of the Burns community.
Phyllis Mitchell continues to recuperate from a stroke and Kathleen Brenzikofer has returned to Kansas Christian Home after a brief stay at Newton Medical Center.
