Myron and Sally Ammeter and Angela, Collin, and Mitchell Bunger of Manhattan stopped by the Ammeter farm Oct. 28, after visiting Opal Craney at Peabody Care Center. They went to lunch in Burns and went back to LaVonne’s to visit. Stan and B.J. Ammeter also were present. Sally took Opal back to Peabody and in the late afternoon, they returned to Manhattan.

Bill Brown of Newton picked LaVonne up Oct. 29 and they went to Arletta’s in Burns for the reunion of the class of 1947.

The group had lunch and then enjoyed visiting and reminiscing.

Those attending were Flo (Larsen) Biehl, Mary Langenegger, Lorene (Hiebert) Klassen and husband, Rubena (Goosdon) Franzen, Wendell Edwards, John and Nelsie Dauber, Rosemary (Hubman) Miller, Bill Brown, and LaVonne Ammeter. Herb Strotkamp came to visit before lunch.

Later Nancy Daire came to pick up the cross her dad, the Rev. Wilmer Nelson, made for the Summit Church. Stan was a visitor while Nancy was at the farm.

Blondie Logan came again on Oct. 31 and we went to Peabody Senior Center for lunch. We stayed to help with the peppernuts. Later we went to visit Darlene Nonken.
