Burns First Mennonite fellowship meets

Al and Bonnie Plummer left Nov. 5 for Nixa, Mo., to visit Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abby. They went to Branson to watch Abby in a cheerleading competition. They returned home Nov. 7.

The First Mennonite Senior Fellowship met at the home of Mary Langenegger on Nov. 8. Attending were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Howard Hess, Dan and Alice Stucky, Mike and Larry Spachek, Gary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.

Josh Wiebe attended the Kansas City Chiefs football game Nov. 13 with his father-in-law, Gary Thiessen and Gary’s sons.

Nov. 12 guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Jim and Sally Abel, Dick and Vicky Gantz and family, Jean Gaines, Herb Gaines, and Shelly Harper and Ben. All were dinner guests the next day of Herb Gaines. Dusty joined them.

Gene and Louise Koehn and Joyce Kyle were breakfast guests of James Olberding on Nov. 12 at Burns Café to celebrate birthdays.

Evelyn Sidener and Joyce Kyle went to El Dorado on Nov. 12 to attend the funeral of Dr. Al Stoskopf, husband of Vera Pearl Selvy Stoskopf.

Greg Langenegger, Marie Clark, and Joyce Kyle were Nov. 13 dinner guests of Marg and Gary Langenegger. The women attended “Hello Dolly” in the afternoon.

Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Ronnie Gaines called on Joyce Kyle on Nov. 13.

Renferd and Wanda Koehn and Lonnie joined others in Burns for a potluck dinner honoring Rhonda Schmidt on her birthday.

Megan Sayers of Derby came to visit her father, Bruce Sayers, Nov. 10. She returned to her home Nov. 13.

Sandy Sayers was a “working” guest of her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Nov. 11. Bruce Sayers was a dinner guest on Nov. 13.
